As a founding principal and chief financial officer of Innovative Portfolios, LLC, Ron handles all facets of finance and business operations for the company and for its affiliated registered investment advisory firm. In this role for each of these businesses, he coordinates operations with compliance, oversees financial management, and directs marketing efforts and staffing. Ron helps guide overall strategic direction and investment policy for these firms, serving as a leading member of the investment committee and as co-manager of one of the investment strategies for Innovative Portfolios.

With almost 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ron started with Prudential Bache Securities and, later, Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter before co-founding an investment advisory firm in Indianapolis, Indiana, more than two decades ago. He continues to serve as co-principal, managing director and chief financial officer of that RIA and as a partner in related investment management companies.

Ron attended Indiana University School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He is also an avid supporter of performing arts in the Indianapolis area and currently serves on the board for The Cabaret theater.
